Bryan has been doing a range of online events via Facebook Live, Zoom, and pre-recorded video, and remains available for engagements in these formats. From March 20-May 8, Bryan led a series of online family singalong times, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 1:23pm ET via Facebook Live on the SmallTall Ministries Facebook page. Those videos can be viewed via links on the blog of this website, whether or not you have a Facebook account. Click here for more details on this initiative.
June 14 – Bryan spoke/sang via pre-recorded video for the online worship service of St Jacobs Mennonite Church (Ontario), with a follow-up conversation via Zoom. Theme: Psalm 137 – “How Can We Sing The Lord’s Song In A Strange Land?” Video link to the service is available here; blog post including outline of content is posted here.
August 2 – Bryan spoke/sang via Zoom for a joint worship service of Stirling Ave, Pioneer Park, and First Mennonite Churches (Kitchener, Ontario). Theme: A Gifted People (and the invitation/challenge to make those gifts available) – Mark 10:17-31 and 1 Peter 4:7-11.
Sept 16 – Oct 21 – leading an online Bible study via Zoom (6-week series on Wednesday evenings) on Mark’s Gospel with the Young Adult group from Kern Road Mennonite Church, South Bend, Indiana.
Sept 27 – speaking/singing via Zoom for worship service of First Mennonite Church (Kitchener, Ontario). Theme: Psalm 137 – “How Can We Sing The Lord’s Song In A Strange Land?”
Oct 24 – singing a couple of songs via Zoom as part of the Mennonite Church Canada Study Conference 2020: “Table Talk: Does The Church Still Have Legs?”
Oct 25 – speaking/singing for online worship service with Listowel Mennonite Church (Listowel, Ontario)
Nov 15 – speaking/singing via Zoom for worship service of East Plains United Church (Burlington, Ontario). Theme: Psalm 137 – “How Can We Sing The Lord’s Song In A Strange Land?”
Dec 6, 12, 13 – recurring role as “President of the Shepherds Association of Waterloo Region” as part of online Advent worship services, and hosting an online “Shepherd’s Party” for families with small children, First Mennonite Church (Kitchener, Ontario)
Several congregational retreats planned for Fall 2020 have been postponed until Fall 2021.
